Soil 2024-25

This project developed around the theme of soil. I buried 114x117cm of raw canvas from November-February. ‘Within’ is the resulting piece. I focused on the earthworm, its position within its habitat, its physical characteristics and the role it plays within the eco-system. I was invited to continue with the project for an exhibition at the Brewhouse Gallery at the Oxfordshire Museum.
