‘Allowing a breathing space from the process of painting and engaging again with found materials and organic substances. ’A huge jackdaw’s nest found in my chimney inspired new drawings and a slower pace of working. Making charcoal and inks from the twigs of the nest enabled an immersion into the imaginative framework that supports life.
